SEPTEMBER 13, 2018 - Discovery House is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Connolly to the role of Chief Financial Officer in the capacity of consultant. Jessica started with Discovery House in May 2018, supporting the finance department after the departure of Sharon Sprinkhuysen, former Director of Finance & Operations. Since that time, she has become an integral member of the organization, and is an important addition to the senior leadership team.
A born Calgarian, Jessica obtained a bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary in 2005, and her masters in professional accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. She articled at Collins Barrow in Calgary and achieved her Chartered Accountant designation in 2008. In 2018, Jessica co-launched Chow Connolly LLP where, in addition to her duties as CFO, Jessica will continue on as a partner, supporting Calgary’s business community.
As acting CFO, Jessica will work closely with CEO, Monique Auffrey, Director of Philanthropic partnerships, Evie Eshpeter, and Director of Program and Evaluations, Jillian Dowding, to ensure the organization’s operations strategically align with Discovery House’s financial objectives.
