About
Food for thought
From November 1 to November 30, The Brenda Strafford Centre, Discovery House, and Sonshine Community Services, will be hosting their first annual joint fundraising campaign called Food For Thought.
With your help we are hoping to raise awareness and crucial funds to support women and children in need of safe and secure housing, counselling and other wrap-around services.
Your donation will help us raise critical funds that will directly impact vulnerable women and children.
PARTICIPATING establishments
We are very pleased to to have the following restaurants and establishments join our campaign. Support the #FoodForThought campaign by visiting any of these establishments; your patronage will go a long way in directly impacting the lives of women and children affected by domestic violence.

Matching donors
We are pleased to announce that the Food for Thought campaign has matching donors! EFW Radiology, The Owen Hart Foundation and other anonymous donors are generously matching donation up to $10,000! This means your gift and participation in Food for Thought will have more impact, supporting more women and children who are fleeing domestic violence in our community. Thank you for making a difference this November!

How To participate
Food For Thought brings business and social profit together to make a lasting impact on women and children experiencing domestic violence.
